In 1919, after returning from WWI, Truman and his friend Eddie Jacobson opened a mens clothing store in KC. This relationship would prove critical in the formation of the State of Israel.
President Truman dropped the atomic bomb on Japan, ending WWII in that theater. Then in 1945 he arranged Germany's unconditional surrender endding WWII in Europe.
